If the boat or caravan can’t be found when completing the asset information section in the application, you can free type the asset details into the application by ticking “YES” next to the question “Enter Manually?”.
Calculating the LVR If the asset details have been provided manually (free typed)
For Caravan and Boat dealer purchases If the asset details have been provided manually (free typed) NOW Finance will calculate the LVR from the purchase price on the dealer invoice.
For Caravan and Boat private sale purchases If the asset details have been provided manually (free typed) NOW Finance will calculate the LVR from the average sale price of the asset on boatsales.com or caravansales.com. If the asset cannot be found online, NOW Finance will obtain a desktop valuation from Pickles Auctions. The desktop valuation can take up to 48 hours.
